ax96lli4.sys - Windows 2003 x64 Enterprise Edition R2 Andre 6/12/2007 8:55:05 PM A few months ago we installed Windows 2003 x64 Enterprise Edition R2 evaluation. The evaluation will expire soon so we decided to upgrade to the full version, however during the upgrade process we ran into a problem: File ax96lli4.sys is missing. The installer also won't proceed without this file, it can only abort. The weird thing is that neither on google or microsoft.com there's any information about this file at all - it almost seems as if it doesn't exist. There's also no trace of it on any Windows 2003 CD. We need to upgrade as soon as possible since our evaluation license will expire quite soon. I hope someone can help us out with this.

You are searching all the inf files for the text string ax96lli4.sys. One of those INFs contain a reference to the file ax96lli4.sys which are now trying to locate. Open the inf to see what the driver is that is trying to locate.
