Running under Vista x64 Ultimate (Retail) with Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 150 Media
Center Kit. Cable wire.
After I installed driver/software. Of course, Vista overwrited driver for
WinTV-PVR 150. I opened MCE and config them. When I chose Live TV mode.
Pictures is very poor, like fizzles. My TV set showed very cleared. I tried
fixed the problems and I gave it up. I opened WinTV2000. I let it scan
signals. After it done, Oh boy, WinTV2000 show NOTHING. no picture or sound.
However there is very weird, when i open BOTH MCE and WinTV2000. WinTV2000
has no picture. (blank screen) but MCE now show very clear picture. When I
change channels from MCE. picture changed into bad and fizzle picture.
however when I changed the channels **FROM** WinTV2000. MCE changed itself
if it is "follow" WinTV2000's command and picture is cleared within MCE.
Sound like MCE might has a bug: it dont scan channels for good signal or
auto fine tuner when change channel.
Any how I can fix MCE to get good and cleared picture without use WinTV2000?
