Error Message at start up
Mansion 5/7/2007 2:27:01 PM
I receive an error message at start up, it reads:
C:\Windows\system32\ajaxcjsg.dll
--This specified module can not be found. What is this? How do I fix it?
Thank U.

I couldn't find any references to this one - are you sure it is spelled
correctly?

Yes, this is exactly what the "Error Message" reads.
A guy at Toshiba tech support told me it may have to do with recent updates
done by Microsoft. Who knows??

Whatever the file is it seems you're the only one in the
world reporting this particular problem. Searches of the
internet only come up with your post in
microsoft.public.dotnet.vjsharp. And you have the post in
this forum.

Seeing Theo's reply, I wonder is this *.DLL a file you compiled and
installed yourself? Is it part of a 64bit project?

The closest I can come to anything related is:

ASP.NET AJAX is a free framework for quickly creating a new
generation of more efficient, more interactive and
highly-personalized Web experiences that work across all the
most popular browsers.

With ASP.NET AJAX, you can:

* Create next-generation interfaces with reusable AJAX
components.
* Enhance existing Web pages using powerful AJAX
controls with support for all modern browsers.
* Continue using Visual Studio 2005 to take your
ASP.NET 2.0 sites to the next level.
* Access remote services and data directly from the
browser without writing a ton of complicated script.
* Enjoy the benefits of a free framework with technical
support provided by Microsoft.

Is he playing around with ASP.NET AJAX?

Then Sun has: Asynchronous JavaScript Technology and XML
(Ajax) With the Java Platform

I was begining to suspect a 'Program Files' kind of a syndrome as that is
one of the more conceiled traps that most ordinary users don't have to deal
with at all.

Ajax is very exiting as a technology. For me, personally I thought it had
limited use and I don't think I ever finished reading the one book I have on
the subject - I know I should of course. I didn't know of the dot net
sibling, though. Now I do.

Reply:
Thank you for your help & assistance.
I re-read the actual error message on my screen:
it reads verbatim as follows--
RUNDLL
Error loading: C:\Windows\system32\ajaxcjsg.dll
The specified module can not be found.

I hope this helps and makes things clearer.
Thank U

As I said before: Whatever the file is it seems you're the
only one in the world reporting this particular problem.
Searches of the internet only come up with your post in
microsoft.public.dotnet.vjsharp. And you have the post in
this forum.

You need to do some investigating on your system and stop
spouting the same thing over and over.

You are the only one on planet earth reporting this problem!!!
