Installing Vista 64bit on Vista 32Bit Richard 6/25/2007 1:07:00 AM Hi everybody I recently inslled Vista Ultimate 32 bit and realized (a bit late) that I could have installed the 64 bit version . Is it possible to install the 64 bit version with the 32 bit version already on my computer? Would it be a good idea to run on the 64 bit anyway? what would be the benefits? So you can't install both on your computer. Further, if you had two copies and wanted to install both, in a dual boot mode, they would HAVE to reside on different partitions. Finally, you can't upgrade from your existing 32-bit to 64-bit. Charlie , in the case i want to install my 64bit version, how could I do a fresh and clean install without too much problem? I have the two version (32 and 64) on two different DVD.
