120 day Evaluation version - When does my install expire
Royston H 6/14/2007 6:56:01 PM
Hi

I recently installed the 120 evaluation version and so far so good (Very
impressed and stablest version of windows I've ever used, and I've managed to
source all the hardware drivers I need as wekk :-) ). I did'nt make a note
of the date that I installed the evaluation edition and would like to know
how many days I've got left. The only thing that I've tried is looking at
the event logs and take the first entry date as the day I installed.

Can I check how many days I've got left elseware in the OS?

If I remember correctly 'winver' will tell you. Click
<start> then <Run> then type in 'winver' and click <OK>.

Yep, does give you the expiry date & time Thanks

My only dilemma then will be if I stick with XP 64bit or get Vista 64 bit
