remote desktop
SheLuvsHiking 5/23/2007 5:55:02 PM
We have a PC in the office of our small business. We also have a laptop with
XP Home installed on it. If we buy XP Pro for the PC, can we use the remote
desktop feature from the laptop using Home? We don't want to use Vista b/c
we have quickbooks 2006 and those two aren't compatible (correct)?
We have received 2 different answers from customer service so far...
please help asap.

Thanks in advance

This has nothing to do with 64-bit Windows, the subject of this newsgroup,
but to answer your question. Yes, you can use Windows XP Home Edition to
Remote Desktop into a Windows XP Professional machine.

As for Vista and QuickBooks - I suggest you ask in the appropriate Quicken
forum.
