Installing 64-bit requires a completely clean install. An updated Files ans Settings Transfer Wizard is supposed to make it feasible to migrate parts of your installed programs. I would suspect it is probably pretty much limited to the data for your programs. If you're installing to the same partition that had 32-bit Windows installed, you should do a format of that partition as part of the installation. You can't mix 32-bit and 64-bit OSs on the same partition. All applications must be completely re-installed, and you should ensure you have full drivers available prior to installing. Since this is an HP server, I'm guessing you're using HP's OEM version of Windows Server. If so, you'll need a new PID and License for the 64-bit version.
