cdrom driver missing "Bart" <bart[ at ]hccnet.nl> 5/13/2007 9:15:26 PM I am using XP 64 bit for some time. Suddenly my DVD-driver is gone and Windows does not see it anymore. I had to install XP again but is there another easier solution? What does cause this problem? I have a Lite On SOHW-1693S with the latest firmware. Thanks

Try to use system restore to roll back before the DVD drive was lost. There is another way of deleting the upper and lower filters but someone else will have to help with that. Since most ulcers have been found to be caused by a bacteria, I assume the doctor tested for that and put you on the strong anti-biotic that everyone I know with an ulcer, cured the problem, even if they had been suffering for many years with it.
