I had a driver that I installed myself, and the driver was still on the download list in the vista x64 update list when I clicked on check for updates. I thought it was going to update the existing driver I had installed, but it was left over from when it was not installed. I guess that you must check for udates again after instaling drivers or software to avoid this. Does anyone know of a way to delete failed download entries in the download history list in vista x64? I did not know if I should post this here in the windows 64 bit computing or in windows update, so feal free to redirect me if you think it is needed.
