Where is the temporary folder? I did a search and it came up not there. I downloaded a file and it said it was going to my temporary folder, but I can find no such folder. Thanks James

Rt-click My Computer, select Properties > Advanced > Environment Variables and in the upper box look for a Variable of TEMP or TMP and theValue is the path to its location.
If one or both are not there look in the other box, System Variables (scroll own if necessary) and locate as above.

Jerry, I followed your instructions and found all the right places but the Temp folder just isn't there. Looked in system varibles and theyy are both there but their is no folder. Do I just make a new folder and name it 'Temp". Doesn't sound like that would work. But what do I know? Thanks James

Or, click Start then Run and type this command: %TEMP%

As you appear to not have a TEMP or TMP folder than you can make one wherever you want and go back to the environmental variables and create the path to the folders created.

What do you mean, "it's just not there"? What happens when you execute that command?
