Many times individuals call PC manufacturers to report a wireless problem before they actually check to see if the problem is on the customer's end. To save some grief try some of these steps first.
1. Check your router Do you see power and the lights on? 2. Check the cable modem is there a orange internet conect light on. If not stop problem not your computer it's either your cable modem or company or your router needs reseting. 3. Sut off your computer modem , and router and unplug modem and router. Plug the modem back into the power first wait a minute then plug in your router wait about 20 minutes then when all lights are on and connected turn on your system and recheck to see if you can connect with internet. 4. See if a wireless signal is showing on the bar and they are all green and strong. 5. Go to network connection properties and see if you have over two networks in preferred. Remove all and reconnect only the two that is the most important sometimes if there are more than two networks this could cause a issue. make sure your encrytion is connected okay. 6. Do a ipconfig to see if your ip connection is ok if not try step 7 7. do a ipconfig /renew 8. Connect directly to the modem to see if if you can connect to the internet. 9. Shut down system and turn off after each step
At this point then it is advisable to call your cable company, and or computer company to reinstall driver or replace equipment.
