Hi, Are you running IE6 or IE7? Are you having trouble reaching any other websites?

IE7: I just tested other shortcuts, and created new ones, and all of them get the Error (do you want to send data to MS?). I think that some worked in the past but not sure now. I looked for previous messages about this - found none. Thoughts?

Hi, Is IE6 the default browser? Check that at Control Panel> Add or remove programs> Set program access and defaults.
Next, from IE> Tools> Manage add-ons, disable all add-ons. If the problem goes away, re-enable them one at a time to see if an incompatible add-on is found.

Yes, even with the bad rep, I still use IE7. <g> Then I started deleting some add-ons and disabled others. I can now launch a shortcut from the Desktop. Since I have not disabled any that looked important, I guess I will just leave it as it is now. Thank you very much for your help.

Hi,

Oops, "IE6" was a typo, but glad you got it resolved. Thanks for the update.
