Unmountable_Boot_Volume Mohit Kapoor 6/12/2007 2:27:00 AM Hi, I have Win XP Home Edition. I am getting the above error (in the blue screen). When I searched the net I found there are two ways to solve the problem. 1. Insert Win XP cd and restart the system. 2. Download WinXP_EN_HOM_BF.EXE file in "6 FLOPPY disk" and run it. Firstly, I do not have Win XP CD. Secondly, my system does not have any floppy disk to run the exe file. Please let me know is there any other way to do...by using CD to run the exe file. If yes, please let me know (or the place from where I can download the Cd version). I would be greatful to you. Thanks, Mohit

Since you don't have a floppy drive you can 1) buy a usb floppy drive and use the 6 disk set; 2) borrow an XP Home install disk; 3) take the machine to a local professional computer shop for this easy repair.
