how to remove search bar IE7

How???

And is it possible to make the address bar shorter? The top section of the
internet explorer seems to be expanding. First there's the title bar, then
the menu bar, then the links bar, then the tabs. It's all adding up, using a
sizable chunk of the screen now. The links for example could have just the
icon, not necessary to have the whole name... it's a link that I put there,
I know what it is! They could then fit in next to the shorter address bar,
or even in place of the waste of space that is the live search bar.

I know you can unlock the bars and move them around, but that's still only
too little control. Come on, let us decide what to include.

Hi,
There are some customizations available for the IE7 toolbar.
See: www.enhancie.com > Tweaks
Quero toolbar http://www.quero.at/
http://www.iecustomizer.com/

Browser shells (overlays) which use the IE engine:
Maxthon browser http://www.maxthon.com/
Avant browser http://www.avantbrowser.com/

Hope this helps,
Don

Wrong URL. It's www.enhancEie.com (capitalization added for emphasis
only).
