To further clarify after reading assorted posts - Folders is set to save the view on exit; this is happening with disk drive windows, folder windows, control panel window, etc. but application will open in the same size window as when it closed. I have tried holding down control when clicking X to exit. I have tried unclicking save view and closing the folder settings boxes and window and reopening and trying again to save the view. My problem seems opposite to everyone else in that my windows are always opening maximized, not "normal"
Thank you for your patience and help
