I want to be able to search for all occurrences of a particular number in my
spreadsheets (I know I can use Excel's search function to do a search within
a single XL document but the trouble is I don't know which one to look in
and I need to do this operation a lot) .
WDS seems well enough able to find text entries in spreadsheets but not
numbers (I have tried many different scenarios)
I see on the Excel forum they suggest giving up and sticking with Google
Desktop Search (but I can't install it as I don't have administrative access
to my company computer)
Any suggestions? Even suggested cause of problem?
