Locked out of Options on Internet Explorer V7 "Steve Jordan" <s.0882[ at ]comcast.net> 6/21/2007 3:45:09 PM I think my computer may be high jacked, because I cannot open Internet Options under the Tools tab. I get a message when I try to open that "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator". This is a home computer and has no password restrictions set up. Any suggestion are appreciated. Steve

What kind of security software do you have and have you run any virus/malware scans? If so, you can unlock by unchecking the option to "Protect IE Control Panel".
