How to rename a drive? DK 6/28/2007 2:18:02 PM I apologize for not saving the replies when I posted this before. I use external hard drives and flash drives on my pc. One external hard drive is full of music, and I have playlists that look for it on the I drive, which is what it usually is. But depending on what drives I have used most recently, it sometimes becomes a different drive and the playlists won't work. When it has become J:, how can I restore it to I:? Thanks.

Now in the right hand pane right click on the Drive or Partition that you want to change and select Change Drive Letter and Paths.
