how write files and folders to a dvd disc cashdeskmac 6/30/2007 3:30:01 PM I have a few folders which I would like to back up to a dvd disc (these folders are about 3.5Gb in total, which is why I don't want to use a CD disc). Can anyone tell me how to do this? Do I need any special software to do it? The only option i am getting at the moment is to send them to the built-in CD drive, but that won't qwrite to DVD's. Please help.

I recommend CDBurnerXP Pro (http://www.cdburnerxp.se/), if you're on a budget. You need two things to write to a writeable DVD disk: 1. A DVD writing drive 2. Software that writes to such a drive. If I understand your message correctly, you have neither of these. If you want to do this, you need to acquire both.
