Fail to connect audio pin using qasf.dll version 10.00.00.3802 Vinay 5/8/2007 10:14:08 AM Hi, Fail to connect the audio pin when I construct the following filter graph using GraphEdit.exe File Async (used AVI Audio / Video file)->AVI Splitter->WM ASF Writer If I try to connect the Audio pin to WM ASF writer , the GraphEdit.exe is crashing. If I register some other version of qasf.dll version eq:10.0.0.3646; Audio pin connects without any problem. I have WMplayer10 and DirectX9.0 installed on my XP system I am not sure wether there is any problem with WMP10 (version 10.00.00.3802) in connecting any audio information. Thank you, Vinay

The WMASFWriter filter requires you to configure it with a profile before you can successfully connect its input pins and the pins will only connect successfully if the media types match the ones in the profile.
