hi,
to make a snapshot from running WMP i have to disable "Video Overlay" and sometimes also set "Video Hardware Accelerator" to minimum else i only get a "black" Bitmap in Clipboard.
Question : can i detect / Set "Video Overlay" with WMP SDK or other API ?
Now a friend told me about his new ATI PCIe GFK. it have some sort of VIOA (Video In Out Accelerator) and can decode MPEG2 on his GFK ?! He say that PCIe is able to "send" MPEG2 data "bidirectional" so it can encode and decode such Video "direct" with his GFK ?
[ at ]his PC i was not able to make a snapshot from running WMP (Vista, v11). i allways got a "black" Bitmap ... :(
while im not sure why i have to ask :
1.) is it under VISTA, with WMP v11, possible so make a snapshot (to clipboard) ? 2.) does WMP SDK have a other possiblity to make a snapshot ? 3.) does DRM have something to do with it ?
greetings by OHR Jimmy
