The media server will negotiate with the media player to determine whether to dynamically switch sources created in an MBR file, it will also apply thinning and stream dropping of the video portion, if the available bandwidth falls off too far.

Is that what you needed to know ? You didn't say which parameters in the encoder are important to you, so I'm not sure of the intention of your question.
