Hello,
does anybody know where to find sample code for the media foundation exclusive mode. Since Windows Vista I need larger buffers if using the MM-API as in earlier windows versions, what's negative for VoIP applications because of the increasing delay. So I would like to find out the minimum buffer size using the new exclusive mode, but I couldn't find an adequate sample.
My second problem is the waveIn stream. If the microphone device is muted, no data packets are received via MM-API or DirectSound. This behaviour is different to earlier Windows version, too. OK, this may make sense - but I've used the stream as a reliable clock generator for sending RTP packets. - Will this behaviour be the same if accessing the MF buffer directly in exlusive mode? - Is their a way (e.g. a registry key) to enable empty waveIn streams?
Best regards, Ralf
