Hi Bill,
Do you get any error message when viewing pictures from Explorer? More details would help.

No error message, just that little bar a the top of the view pane saying "to protect you we've blocked pictures so no one will see in your computer."
I always edit all files and remove all *.js from them. I hate it when you save a file and it reports back to the site you got it. :-) Thanks, Bill P.

Bill,
Perhaps you're viewing a html file (downloaded from the web) offline, which contains an embedded image file?

Yes I keep files in html but there are no links in them, I remove all the www. I can't stand opening a page and having to wait for it to go to the interenet for stuff, so I do a quick re-write removing all links, uploads, requests.
When I write a page for the internet, http://www.billpattersonshata.com/home.htm, I have photos on it, so when I am going through my files in Internet Explore I need to view what exactly is on a page rather then open and close each file to see what is there.
In Windows Mail it lets you at least click the bar warning to see the pictures, there must be a way to turn off this protection in Explorer or there are going to be a lot of unhappy campers out there. :-) Thanks in advance, Bill

Bill,
I saved the page locally as .htm file, but can't repro the problem. Perhaps you can send me your .htm file to me for testing.
