Some people have complained about Windows Photo Gallery showing photos with incorrect colors. And some have corrected this by deleting the color profile. Start - Control Panel - Personalization - Display Settings - Advanced settings - Color management - Color management - Color Management and remove the profile associated with your monitor(s)
I don't have a profile associated to mine, nor have I had the problem in WPG.
