Destination Path To Long Garrick 4/30/2007 5:48:01 PM I Downloaded a MP3 music file on my second hard drive. When I try to delete it, it desplays that the Destination path is to long. "It tells me that the file name(s) would be to long for the destination folder." "Then tells me that I can shorten the file name and try again, or try a location that has a shorter path." It will not let me delete it or rename it. I also tried to move it into a different location but it will not let me.

I accidentally downloaded a random .jpg file off a p2p program with a very long file name and now it is stuck on my desktop. When I try and move it or delete it, it says 'Destination Path Too Long'. Nothing seems to work. Anyone at Microsoft have an answer??
