Windows Media Player quit working Centerslot 6/17/2007 8:11:00 PM I am running Windows media player that came with Vista Ultimate 64. I was working until a few days ago. When it quit I went to my last restore point and it worked again for a few days. My automatic updater downloaded a new mess of updates last week and this morning WMP is back to the same un-operative condition. I try to open a file and nothing happens. I try to open the program and nothing happens. Any idea what I need to do to use this program again. Is there a more dependable third party solution. Does anyone no if VLC mdedia player works on a 64bit system?
