I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem... But I only got my computer 4 days ago, so I doubt my computer is already corrupted. Initiially I added my iTunes library from my previous computer onto the new one with no problems. However, when I go to add new music, a message comes up and says the iTunes library cannot be saved because I don't have the authorization. I am the administrator on the computer, and was signed into that account, so I'm not sure how much more authorized I can be. Is there somewhere else where I can set options for the administrator? Thanks

It might not be Vista that is causing problems. I have just put my video ipod onto my new dell and I got a similar message from itunes. I think it is because apple don't want people sharing music between ipods so they limit how many pc's you can use your ipod with - 5 I think. The question I got with my ipod was did I want to authorize my ipod with this PC, clicked yes and have had no problems at all. Hope this helps

No, this is a different issue, and it is Vista related, according to = their forums and some Apple bulletins on the subject. The problem is = how to solve it! I'm authorized to use this one, and there are no = issues there. It's about how sometimes the Shuffle will sync = beautifully, and then after a few songs...the popups begin. I tried = syncing manually, but it's a pain! After the update, I thought I had it = made, and then it started to lock me out again! So I can do about five = songs...and then I have to shut iTunes down, and either start over...or = drag and drop. Not so bad for my Shuffle, but if I have to do that with = the big IPod...wow. What a time consumer that'll be!
