.mov files

With my previous computer I could play .mov files with Windows Media Player.
Now I have a newer computer with Vista, and cannot play .mov files... Any
suggestions?

The file format .mov is from Apple and not widely supported outside of
their own player. You probably had some .mov codec on your old system
you don't have on the new one. A quick fix would be to either download
Apple's Quick Time or use Google to locate a converter to change the
..mov to something more friendly in the Windows world.

I don't think that Windows Media Player has ever been able to play .mov
files. You need Apple QuickTime to play these.
