What changes in files during a Vista upgrade to cause iTunes probl
Nik 6/1/2007 4:53:03 AM
I had 15GB of iTunes compatible videos which worked great under XP 64-Bit. I
did an express upgrade and now iTunes reports that the same un-touched files
are no longer compatible.

When I click on the video file in window explorer, iTunes give error If I go
and try to double-click on the file in the directory usine
exploere, it should start iTunes and play it... instead it gives an
"Error -37: a bad filename or volume name was encountered"

I tried to rename the file to "test.mp4" and when i try to open it it
gives an error "Error -2002: a bad public movie atom was found in the
movie"

What's up with this stuff? What happens to files in Vista when compared to
XP?

I've downloaded the current version of iTunes 7.2.0.34 and same result.

It all worked in XP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm ready to buy a MAC.
