I have connected my Canon HV20 HD camcorder to my vista machine using
Firewire. It can see the device and I am able to import video from the
camcorder. When I am finished with the import, it says that it imported the
file and all is well. But when I try to move the imported file to the
storyboard or the timeline view, it sees the file only as audio. I can not
get the file up to the video line. I have imported videos from this
camcorder before without any problems, yet it will not work with this import.
