Windows Media PLayer 11 wont find songs (XP)
StoneAgeDino 6/9/2007 10:37:01 AM
Hey all,
Windows Media player 11 has just deleted all my songs from the library, and
when i try to re add them, it won't let me. The playlists ive created before
this problem still play, and they play, but it wont show the songs in the
window. ive uninstalled it and was running WMP9 and everything worked fine,
but when i reinstalled WMP11, it still wont add files to the library. Ive
tried dragging and dropping from windows explorer to the library but that
didnt work. Theyre stored on an external Hard drive, but i also had songs on
the internal C drive, and they werent added either. Im running windows XP
SP2. all updates for it are installed, and i have the version of WMP11 thats
on the windows downloads page. If any1 has any ideas, plz reply, until then,
im back in the stone age...

This is a Vista group. You should try the appropriate XP group.
