Thanks Tim, CalBear and Dave! It was indeed the resolution set incorrectly. Can't remember what it was set at but in checking I found the native suggested resolution for this monitor to be 1440x900. I re-set it there and now the proportion is perfect! Not being very computer saavy I had it in my head that resolution was was simply pixels/inch for clarity, not really appreciating their two direction nature. Thanks again for the solution! -- eldon
