1. you need to purchase a new cable labs certified PC for cable card use with digital cable tuners. you can't add this functionality to an existing computer.
2. two cable cards/DCT's + 1 ATSC tuner is the stated limit so 3 live shows
3. I get full 5.1 sound with my 360 extender when the tv show is broadcast in 5.1
