Installing a digital camera "HanLee" <user[ at ]noreply.com> 7/5/2007 1:15:48 PM On my Vista Home Premium PC I can't install my Sony digital camera, I downloaded a new driver for the camera. In the folder scanners and cameras in configuration the camera keeps showing up as a "Xerox scanner"! Installing this camera on my XP laptop wasn't a problem. Thank you for any help or advice. Joan

I can't figure out what the "Xerox" entry in the scanner and camera folder means, it was already there when I opened the folder for the very first time. Every time I try to add my camera it shows up as a scanner! and I can't delete the entry. I have to download the pictures I take with this camera via a picture programme (Corel) as the normal way via the camera is not available. (1) run Windows (2) turn on camera (3) plug in usb cable to computer and camera (4) answer the dialog box to initiate the transfer.
