I think you have to clarify more what happens on your system. What do you exaclty mean with "Skip" - Skip playback in the middle of the track? Or does Media Player just pause, meaning "playback stopped at the end of one track and does not continue with the next one" after choosing any track in the playlist? Have you enabled Crossfading? Does this happen with all types of files (mp3 and WMA, CD-ripped and buyed Online)? Maybe if you tell a little bit more about this behaviour, there is a better possibility to help you with your problem! Have a nice day!

I have two new Dell computers with Media player 11, and in the playback of my mp3 and wma files, the songs skip and jump in the last 10 seconds. You can fix this problem as follows. Thanks to jazacoop. 1. go to control panel,sound,speakers/headphones. 2.
