Problem solved.
Replugged drive into Ulta TX133 Card and restared from DVD. At the Start Install I hit shift-F10 and brought up command prompt. Using diskpart I cleaned then created a primary partition on the whole disk.
Continuing the install, the partition was shown to select; once selected, the clean install continued to completion after the necessary automatic reboots.
Windows Vista Business is now showing the Drive as the C: drive with the correct amount of GB.
