Hello,
I'm trying to use sysprep on a Windows Vista computer so I can make an image but I have a Business edition upgrade volume license copy of the media, which is not bootable. I put Windows XP on the computer then put a flash drive in the computer with Autounattend.xml on it and then install Windows Vista. The install goes fine but at a certain point it can't find Autounattend.xml.
So, then I build the master computer the way I want it then try and run sysprep but get a fatal error. I found the Micrsoft knowledgebase article and obtained the hotfix but I still get the fatal error. What can I do to solve this problem with sysprep?
Thanks, Rich
