The Product Key You Typed is Already In Use Jonathan Gent 7/11/2007 11:20:02 PM Hi there folks. Ok, I keep gettins this error when trying to activate windows. This copy of windows was purchased by myself from ebuyer and has activated once perfectly fine. After a mild hardware revamp, new graphics card and os-reinstall the software won't unlock, stating the error as in the thread title. The only things that have changed on my pc are a change in TV card (been fidling), sound card(s), and harddisks (7 atm). I am getting extremly frustrated as I have even tried to revert the system configuration to the same as when very first activated. Hopefully this will be a simple fault that someone hear can advise me on Kind Regards JG

Phone activation is the solution in most cases. The number to call should be provided on the activation screen. Cheers.
