The Product Key You Typed is Already In Use
Jonathan Gent 7/11/2007 11:20:02 PM
Hi there folks.

Ok, I keep gettins this error when trying to activate windows. This copy of
windows was purchased by myself from ebuyer and has activated once perfectly
fine. After a mild hardware revamp, new graphics card and os-reinstall the
software won't unlock, stating the error as in the thread title. The only
things that have changed on my pc are a change in TV card (been fidling),
sound card(s), and harddisks (7 atm).

I am getting extremly frustrated as I have even tried to revert the system
configuration to the same as when very first activated. Hopefully this will
be a simple fault that someone hear can advise me on

Kind Regards

JG

Use the phone activation method, after the hardware changes Vista probably
detects a new machine. Phone activation is the solution in most cases. The
number to call should be provided on the activation screen. Cheers.
