How to start bootmgr, not vista
"Ruud Uphoff" <RuudUphoff[ at ]community.nospam> 6/16/2007 8:31:51 AM
Please help..

There are two primary partitions. On the first is Windows XP. On the second
is Windows Vista. To start an operating system, i just made its partition
active.

Now, Wndows Vita is the active partition so the system always boots Vista.
Now I want to install the bootmanager. Windows XP is on drive Z:

Usng BCDEDIT, I created the configuration below. However, the system boots
Vista, not the bootmanager. How to get the system dislay the bootmanager,
not starting Vista directlty.

Is there any documentation on installing the bootmanager manualy?

The problem? The system still boots Vista,

Most people (including me) don't want to spend the time to learn
how to use bcdedit properly. That's why vistabootpro.org created
the VistaBootPro gui front-end for bcdedit which does the hard
part for you automatically.

After installing VistaBootPro just click the Boot icon to install the
Vista boot manager using the 'all drives' option.
