As to whether it's worth it .. that depends. Do you have any applications which wil take advantage of 64 bit Windows? And do you have any DOS or 16 bit apps you still need to run ('coz they won't run, on 64 bit Windows). I've been running 64 bit Vista since before RC1 and I'm pretty happy with it.
