I'd have to agree, just set Legacy of Kain to run as admin by default. Should resolve any issues. You could also install LoK into a public folder (like what WoW does) or some other non-secure folder.
I re-enabled it on all my systems recently, it doesn't cause any issues, and I figure if a program doesn't run correctly with it on (unless it's an old game I really want to play), it's just not worth the risk because some sloppy coder can't keep his hands out of protected windows space.
