I'd like to use Device Simulator for Windows SideShow on my mobile pc to
access data from my desktop pc via wifi.

Possible?

This is possible but not recommended. The Device Simulator is intended to be
used as a tool for developing Windows SideShow gadgets and hardware.

You can download the simulator from

I have the simulator, but it shows the gadgets of my UMPC . ( the computer
itself )

I'd like to access my gadgets on my desktop from my umpcs sideshow simulator..

ie i'd like to use my umpc as a sideshow device paired with my desktop via
wifi.

Ah, I re-read your original mail. Unfortunately, we don't have a tcpip
driver for the simulator released yet. That would be needed to run the
simulator on one machine and display data from another.

You scenario is interesting though. We'll look into this for a future
release.
