Running Out of Space
ISA_MAN 6/19/2007 8:39:00 AM
I am using WSUS version 1. I installed that WSUS in D drive with about 22GB
of spaces. Now I only have 500 MB left in that D drive (a partition of 1
harddisk). I am thinking about installing the WSUS in new other server with
sufficient spaces and download all updates from the old server so that I do
not need to download the all updates from internet.

But the problem is, I do not have an additional server. So the only option I
have is to install an additional SCSI harddisk in my old WSUS server. But the
problem here is how to move the WSUS direcotry from D drive to my new
harddisk?

Or, maybe there exists other solution for me without reinstalling and
redownloading all those updates?

See the "Move Local Content Cache" feature of WSUSUtil.exe

The wsusutil.exe is a core utility of WSUS 2.0.

You'll find it at \Program Files\Update Services\Tools\wsusutil.exe
