Use the local policy editor "Start/Run" then "gpedit.msc" Use it to configure the client. WSUS doesn't really care whether it's a domain or workgroup environment. You need to configure the =client= system to talk to the WSUS server. Recommended way to do this is to use Local Policy, and configure the client as needed. Detailed instructions are in the WSUS Deployment Guide.
