You can't do this with WSUS 3.0... and to be honest, you don't need to. The only exception I can think of is when an update breaks something - and you're testing these in a lab so that's not an issue, right? ;)
When an update on a client machine is superseded by a newer one, Windows takes care of installing the newest bits automatically. So, unless I'm misunderstanding your question this is a non-issue.
