Upgrade from WSUS 2.0 SP1 to WSUS 3.0 error DaveC 5/15/2007 3:20:01 PM I have recieved the following error when upgrading one of my 2.0 SP1 boxes. MWUS Installation Failed (Error 0x80070643: Fatal error during installation.) I also recieved Event ID 11722. Re-running setup goes thru the process of installing WSUS succesfully but does not copy any of my updates or approvals (essentially the implace upgrade failed). Is there a step where I can import those updates and approvals now that WSUS 3.0 is installed after the fact as well as any thoughts why the upgrade failed, etc/ Thanks Dave

I am posting here in case somebody else is interested. This turns out to be an ACL issue.
