Upstream/Downstream Sync Problem
Bel Brands Dean 5/15/2007 10:32:02 PM
I have 2 functional WSUS 3 locations that cannot replicate between
themselves. I am not sure where to look for the problem. Does anyone know
the best log files to look for an indication of the problem? Thanks in
advance for any pointers on where to look.

The SoftwareDistribution.log file found in "Program Files\Update
Services\logfiles" on the Downstream Server.

Thank you for this information. I didn't find any useful information in
this directory, but I did find out what my problem was. I am not using the
default website environment, but I am using the website at port 8530. I had
failed to enter this information into the Sync configuration to replace the
port 80 information, but once I did the sync completed properly. Thank you
again for your reply
