WSUS3 - restart later not working Nigel Jett <jettn[ at ]evergreen.edu> 5/7/2007 3:52:33 PM In the WSUS3 beta the restart later button ignored the timer and would pop back up within about a minute of being clicked. Now with WSUS3 final it pops back up after about 10 minutes. That's a nice improvement, but it's not what I have it set for. Anyone else run into this and/or know how to fix it? I need the restart later to work for at least an hour or else my users become angry.

I had the policy set for 600 minutes. I assume that this number was beyond some hard coded limit and so it defaulted to 10 minutes. I've set it down to 60 minutes on a client and that one now seems to be behaving.

The WUA automatically reverts to =default= values if the values configured in the registry are invalid. I'll poke it a bit more and see what I can turn up.
