WSUS v3
Russw 5/25/2007 1:14:00 AM
I just installed WSUS 3.0 on a Windows 2003 standard x64 version platform.
The hardware for the server is an Intel S5000VSA server board with dual core
Xeon processors. In the additional information on the WSUS console it states
that the processord for the server are AMD64 chips.

Had you bought the HP DL385 this would have been correct. Bet you wish
you bought one now!!

No I don't. Maybe Microsoft should fix the problem so that an Intel processor
shows up as an Intel processor. If I wanted an AMD server I would build one
myself to the specs I want like I do with the Intel servers.

I was just kidding with you on that one. Call PSS and report a bug. If
they find it to be a bug the call will be free.
